Eiheiji Daihonzan Administration Office：0776-63-3102 The headquarter of Soto sect of Buddhism. For over 750 years since its establishment, it has been the place where Soto monks, priests and disciples as well as members of the general public devote themselves in the ascetic practice.
Heisenji Hakusan Jinja (shrine) (Japanese Site)

The shrine embraces numerous historic spots of the once powerful Hakusan Shugen ascetics. Its sando, a visiting path to the shrine, is lined with old cedar trees. It is selected for “The 100 best road in Japan.”
